19th Jun 2013, 10:32 PM Hello again...

One of my favorite issues of the comic, a LOT happens here, in the shadows, in whispers. Things are set off in this very issue that will come back in major ways down the road. The point here is to tell the story of this first six-issue arc while at the same time introducing you to the characters, their motivations...we will soon meet the villains, we will get a bit of history, we will tour the world itself, a world where miracles are taught in schoolbooks and the superheroes are as well-known as rock stars and ballplayers.

Speaking of history, next issue we will learn the 70+-year history of The Benefactor, we will get a tour of the Esoterikon, we will see what happens when the world's premier superteam--Cipher 7--returns to reclaim the world, and...the traitor is revealed!!! Plus--the mysterious being known as Zed promised, on #3's final page, to not break his oath to not interefere with the affairs of Man.

He lied.

Hope you're enjoying the ride so far, and hope to see you back the first week of August. The ride hasn't begun yet, we're still backing out of the driveway. We start riding NEXT issue...and once we really start rolling we may even pick up a Phantom Hitchhiker for company (I'm getting ahead of myself, but keep reading).

23rd May 2013, 3:28 PM Hoping To Hold Your Attention...

Thanks for reading, I promise the artwork gets better and the story gets ever deeper. Next time around we will take a peek into the world of The Naked Weapon, experience the comic-illogical origin of The Daybreaker (formerly known as 'Gravity Lad'), and get a few hints at the greater dangers that approach our guys in the very near future! This first arc, 'Peace On One Earth', is getting you familiar with the heroes....but after that, you'll meet the villains. Next issue is the beginning of that.

The Ill #3 will be available free to read online the first week of July, hope to see you back (and get some feedback from you, as well!).

2nd May 2013, 7:49 PM Not much to say at this point...

...aside from 'Thanks For Reading'.

Come back next month when the Benefactor confronts Professor Crestfallen, and our un-named team loses a member (already!)

Plus: what, exactly, is Mean Girl?
